Workshops for Teachers
TOOLS FOR TEACHERS - FLASHCARDS WORKSHOPS
LFI organises full-day (6h30) or half-day (4h) workshops for teachers and trainers in using online tools for teachers for material creation, as well as different ideas on how to run flashcard, role-play and debate activities in the classroom using this material. There are numerous useful resources online for creating fun material and flashcards, and we will teach you how to do this step-by-step, along with fun activities for engaging your students.
You can either join our workshops on the announced premises and dates in spring 2014 (price per person), or we can organize a workshop on your school/organisation premises (price per school/organisation).
We offer workshops in Finnish, Swedish and English.

TOOLS FOR TEACHERS - USING FLASHCARDS IN THE CLASSROOM
WORKSHOP FOR THE GLOBAL.ME PROJECT, 13.9.2012, TUUSULA
Global.me is an educational project launched by AIESEC aimed at increasing socio-political awareness among the Finnish youth by promoting diversity, tolerance, intercultural communication and alternative education. The aim of the global.me project is to help young Finns to understand the global world and themselves. This is done by bringing students from all around the world to run a course for high school students from small towns in the spring of 2010. The project also provides the high schools with an opportunity to develop their teaching methods.
LFI is participating in the GlobalMe project of 2012 by running a workshop for the 23 student participants called "Tools for teachers". We aim to share with the students our know-how in material creation by making use of online free tools for teachers. We also aim to give students different ideas on how to run flashcard, role-play and debate activities in the classsroom. Here you can have a peek into the material created for this workshop!
