Nordic Cafe Lingua for Youth
Nordic Cafe Lingua for Youth (NCLY) is a project supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers and granted by Nordic Culture Point, with partners from Finland, Sweden and Iceland, that aims to improve the knowledge of young people in the partner countries regarding other Nordic languages and cultures.
The project develops a series of workshops in the form of language cafes aimed at both young migrants and local youth in the project countries to learn their local language and the other Nordic languages of the project (Finnish, Swedish or Icelandic). In addition to the focus on learning Nordic languages, the partners will prepare cultural material teaching the youth about other Nordic cultures, their cultural features, heritage and history through different kinds of activities.

The materials and workshops will also deal with social issues such as gender equality and sexual minorities, environment and sustainable development, racism, diversity and multiculturality in Nordic countries.
