Funding for Finnish language tutors for Cafe Lingua from the Finnish Cultural Foundation

The Finnish Cultural Foundation (Suomen Kulttuurirahasto) has granted funding to Learning for Integration for a Finnish language tutor in Cafe Lingua language event.

The Finnish Cultural Foundation (Suomen Kulttuurirahasto) has granted funding to Learning for Integration ry for having a Finnish language tutor in Cafe Lingua language exchange event every Monday to help the more than thirty people who come to the language cafe every week to practice their Finnish. There are always several Finnish language tables but not always enough native Finnish speakers to help and advice the Finnish learners. The money will cover the salary for one Finnish tutor who will be there every week, and also creation of learning material in Finnish, such as games, worksheets, flashcards and other fun material. The tutor will start at the language cafe in August.
