Navi-Mig project - Final newsletter!

Navi-Mig project is an Erasmus+ project that started in 2022 and is finishing in July 2024, after a final project meeting in Zaragoza, Spain. The partnership has developed 5 interesting results during the past two years. The project contributes to migrants being able to navigate the new residence country with increased self-confidence and self-reliance via the NAVI-MIG application and training platform.

The project also provides a roadmap to migrants that recently (within the last 2-3 years) arrived in their new resident country to help them get oriented and settled quickly via the NAVI-MIG application. The app provides an overview of and quick and easy access to key public services like welfare and healthcare services, integration programs, language teaching, educational and vocational training and others, via NAVI-MIG application.

The project also provides the NAVI-MIG training platform to support with employment as well as a one-on-one mentoring programme based on individual needs of the target group.

Finally, the partners have also developed a detailed manual that summarises all the outcomes and methodologies developed throughout the project, as well as step-by-step instructions for adding content on the NAVI-MIG app. This manual is designed to assist other organizations aiming to support migrants in adjusting to their new host countries.
