NAVI-MIG project is finalising its mobile application development
1.11.2022
NAVI-MIG project had its second TPM in Finland in September, and is well on its way to finishing the first project result, the NAVI-MIG mobile application.
NAVI-MIG project was created as a contribution to inclusion and integration of recently arrived migrants. The successful integration and inclusion of migrants in Europe is critical for our collective well-being, socially and economically. Migrants are at a greater risk of social exclusion than the native population, especially when it comes to accessing health and social services, education, proper housing, and employment. Successful migration integration starts with enabling newly arrived migrants to access essential services and help them get settled and oriented in their new residence. In this project, we are developing a mobile application that offers information and access to essential services like health care, education, housing initiatives, job centers, social services, child support, etc.
The project had its second TPM meeting in Helsinki, Finland, in early September and the partners are now well on the way to finishing the content for the mobile application, which is the first output of the project. Read more in our newsletter below.
