Nordic-Baltic Cafe Lingua - NBCL project has finished

The Nordplus project Nordic-Baltic Cafe Lingua (2015-2017), coordinated by Learning for Integration ry, has finished in August 2017.

The Nordplus project Nordic-Baltic Cafe Lingua (2015-2017) has finished in August 2017. All the project partners from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Iceland have started running their own local Cafe Lingua language cafes within the course of the project. A material portal has also been created for the project, with material in all partner languages and English, and articles and media will also be available on the project website at http://nbcl.eu

The project was successful in that all partners have started and plan to keep the cafes running after the project period, and they have had great feedback from all participants. The cafes are considered valuable for migrants in learning the local language, and for both migrants and locals in practicing languages and networking, creating social as well as professional connections.
