Nordplus Junior - Winter mobility in Finland in January

Nordplus Junior - Digitalisation vs nature project continued with a mobility in Finland in January 2026 - with lots of snow and some sub-zero temperatures (though we managed to avoid the temperatures below -20!)

Teachers and students from the project countries - Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Iceland - gathered in Finland for some activities and nature visits - including Kuusijärvi Lake with Finnish sauna and even swimming in the ice. We also visited Nuuksio National Park and Finnish Nature Centre Haltia, with exhibitions about Finnish nature, as well as a tour of The English School in Helsinki to hear more about the Finnish school system.

LFI is looking forward to meeting everyone again in the next mobility!
