Tools for Teachers Workshop for The Global.Me Project, Tuusula

LFI is participating in the Global.Me project of 2012. LFI plans to organise in the future Workshops for Teachers in Swedish or English for kindergartens or schools in the Helsinki area, on the following topics: Flashcards Workshops, Tools for Teachers Workshops.

Global.me is an educational project launched by AIESEC aimed at increasing socio-political awareness among the Finnish youth by promoting diversity, tolerance, intercultural communication and alternative education. The aim of the global.me project is to help young Finns to understand the global world and themselves. This is done by bringing students from all around the world to run a course for high school students from small towns in the spring of 2010. The project also provides the high schools with an opportunity to develop their teaching methods.

LFI is participating in the Global.Me project of 2012 by running a workshop for the 23 student participants called "Tools for teachers". We aim to share with the students our know-how in material creation by making use of online free tools for teachers. We also aim to give students different ideas on how to run flashcard, role-play and debate activities in the classsroom.
