Svenska Steg Swedish Course in June 2025

In June, Svenska Steg project offers free 4-hour Swedish workshops on Saturdays!
Organised by Learning for Integration ry, Learnmera Oy and Mirsal ry.

This A1 level course is designed to get you speaking the basics of Swedish and feeling confident in everyday situations. Swedish is the second official language in Finland and useful for working both in Finland and Sweden. Whether you need it for work or just curious about the language—this is your perfect starting point! We will have both a Swedish speaking and an Arabic speaking tutor!

When? Every Saturday 13:00–17:00, from May 31 to June 28 (no course on 21 June)

Where? Kauppamiehentie 6, 02100 Espoo

What you will get:
Basic Swedish greetings, vocabulary & grammar
Everyday phrases for work, travel, and social life
Cultural tips to help you integrate and feel at home
Practice through fun activities, group work, and real-life scenarios

Svenska Steg Swedish Cafes on Thursdays

Join us for "Svenska Steg" Swedish language cafes for migrants in Itäkeskus library (Turunlinnantie 1) every Thursday until 29 May 2025, at 18-20.

A training session for language cafe tutors will be held at Oodi Library on 9 September 2024, 16:30-18:30.  Whether you wish to start your own cafe or to act as tutor for any language, come and join us!
